Lucy

Lucy is a Yoga Alliance-certified yoga teacher, specialising in vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa is a more vigorous style of yoga in which flowing movements are connected to the breath - building up cardiovascular health - whilst other postures are held for longer and deeper, building flexibility. Lucy's classes are playful and lighthearted and aim to leave yogis feeling invigorated and empowered.

Yoga is particularly good for climbers as it can help to lengthen stiff muscles, open shoulders and hips, and improve balance and core strength. Yoga also helps to connect and create a healthier dialogue between the body and mind, by focusing on the present moment and the sensations felt in different poses. Yoga can help to give an appreciation of your body and the unique things it can do: just as there is no such thing as a perfect body, there is no such thing as a perfect yoga posture

 

 

Lucy's class runs on Monday evenings 6:30-7:30pm.


Marina

Marina is a certified 200h Yoga Teacher and Massage Therapist. The style of yoga Marina teaches is alignment-based Hatha/Vinyasa. This is an energising practice, linking breath and movement to a smooth and dynamic sequence.

Marina's morning classes are designed to energise your body while relaxing the mind, calming your thoughts and setting you up for a great day ahead.

 

 

Marina's class runs Wednesday mornings 7:30-8:30am.


Cathy

Cathy comes from a creative background and discovered yoga whilst at Architecture School. Since graduating, Cathy went onto complete her 200hr Yoga Alliance qualification and has enjoyed teaching across London ever since. She has trained with a variety of yoga teachers and enjoys incorporating several different styles of yoga into her classes. Cathy’s teaching styles include Vinyasa Flow, Power and Restorative Hatha yoga. Her classes are always fun, energising and soothing for the body. She welcomes and encourages all levels of practitioners to her classes and loves giving her students a good challenge!

Cathy's class runs Thursday afternoons at 12:30-1:30 pm.


All Yoga classes take place at The Biscuit Factory on the Mezzanine floor and are drop-in classes.
Classes are £10 per session. No block bookings presently
Classes are suitable for all levels.

Weekly Timetable:

  • Monday 6:30pm-7:30 pm with Lucy
  • Wednesday 7:30am-8:30 am with Marina
  • Thursday 12:30-1:30 pm with Cathy
