Stand up for trees with the Woodland Trust

The Arch Monthly Round Up took a bit of a back seat while we ran THE TOUR but it’s back for August. If you’ve never been before, you’re in for a real treat! TAMRU is simple: for every bloc you send on the Stage Wall in Acton, we donate 50p to charity! The more you climb, the more you help the cause we’ve chosen for that month.

When you arrive, grab a scorecard from our staff and off you go. There’s a number on your card, if our MC calls your number you’ll win a prize! We have a DJ spinning high energy beats and we’ve installed an absolute ton of new lights.

We’ve chosen The Woodland Trust as this month’s beneficiary. They’re the country’s largest woodland conservation charity.

“Trees and woods filter our air, cool our cities, purify our water and enrich our soil. Yet the damage done to them has now reached catastrophic levels, and our plant and animal species are declining at an alarming rate.

We're standing up for woods and trees. We protect and campaign, plant trees, and restore ancient woodland for the benefit of wildlife and people.

To realise our vision we need to rekindle people’s love for woods and trees and show them the benefits trees can bring to our lives and communities.”
